Steve Bellingham

Steve joined Cromwell Hospital in March 2021 as the Head of Governance & Clinical Quality. He was appointed as the Interim Director of Nursing in December 2021 and appointed as Chief Nursing Officer in March 2022.

Steve qualified in nursing in 2007 from King’s College London. Since then, he has gained significant clinical experience within the NHS and private sector across acute medicine and emergency care. He has held extensive managerial and senior leadership positions which have focussed primarily on safety, quality, and governance in healthcare.

Steve’s day-to-day role includes functional and operational leadership of the nursing provision including allied health professions at Cromwell Hospital.

He is committed to the provision of high-quality, safe care that delivers excellent patient experience and outcomes.
