Day patients

Day surgery, also known as a day case or day patients, refers to a minor surgery or investigative procedure that takes under six hours, and does not require an overnight stay.

Our Day Surgery Unit (DSU) provides specialist pre- and post-operative care for day surgery patients. You can expect to receive exceptional medical care in a calm and comfortable environment in our new Day Surgery Unit.

You will be looked after by a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and healthcare specialists.
