About Mr Habib Khan
Mr Habib Khan is a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon with a specialist interest in heart valve disease and arterial revascularisation. After completing his basic surgical training, he started his training in cardiothoracic surgery in the London Deanery. During his training, he gained considerable experience in complex aortic procedures (including thoracic aortic surgery) as well as mitral valve procedures. Mr Khan has a specialist interest in minimally invasive valve surgery and widely encompasses these techniques in his practice.
Since being appointed as a Consultant Mr Khan has introduced and went on to build the minimally invasive conduit harvesting programme, at Kings College Hospital. Mr Khan also has a keen interest in research and has published more than 50 peer reviewed articles as well as presenting in national and international conferences.
Away from work, Mr Khan is a keen sportsman and regularly plays tennis and enjoys swimming. He is married with three children and lives in South London.
