About Mr Emad AlJaaly

Mr Emad AlJaaly is a consultant cardiac surgeon at Cromwell Hospital, who specialises in minimally invasive procedures. With over two decades’ experience in the United Kingdom and more than a decade internationally, he is a highly skilled surgeon and a pioneer in the field of cardiac surgery.

As a medical student, Mr AlJaaly was consistently a top performer and honed his skills in surgical training across multiple countries. In 2014, he secured the only prestigious Cardiothoracic Surgery Academic Clinical Fellowship (ACF) post, part of the National Training Number (NTN) in the United Kingdom.

In addition to his clinical commitments, Mr AlJaaly is a dedicated researcher, conducting impactful research in the field of cardiac surgery. In recognition of his research achievements, he was awarded a PhD from Imperial College London in 2019.

Mr AlJaaly is dedicated to personal development, completing his national training program, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, and being granted the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2020. He worked a year post-CCT in Advanced Aortic Fellowship, where he gained enormous skill set in major aortic work. He was then appointed to a locum consultant position at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in October 2021, before his final substantive appointment at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in October 2022.
