About Dr Waleed Mohammed

Dr Waleed Mohammed is a consultant clinical oncologist at Cromwell Hospital, with a diverse background in genetics, bio-science, and clinical medicine. He specialises in treating lung cancer and brain cancer.

He initially trained as a bio-scientist, specialising in genetics at the University of Cambridge and completing an MSc in Biology at the University of Oxford, before delving into the pharmaceutical industry. He subsequently re-trained as a medic via the University of Cambridge Graduate Course in Medicine, specialising in clinical oncology. He undertook specialist registrar training at Imperial College NHS Trust, The Royal Marsden Hospital, and the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

Dr Mohammed has been a consultant clinical oncologist at Charing Cross Hospital since 2020, where he introduced, developed, and established the SABR radiotherapy service. He is a member of The Royal College of Physicians in London and a Fellow of The Royal College of Radiologists.
