About Mr Sarkhell Radha
Mr Radha is Clinical Lead for the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department at Croydon University Hospital, and is a keen researcher and mentor to his junior colleagues. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed publications, holds an MSc in Evidence Based Medicine, and an MBA. He is also the lead for the first international ‘Best practice guidelines for arthroscopic intervention in femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) syndrome’ as part of The Hip Preservation Society.
Mr Radha has won many awards throughout his career – most recently, ‘Leading by Example’ at the Croydon University Hospital Star Awards. He was the first consultant and doctor to receive employee of the month from the South West London Orthopaedic Centre, where he performs elective orthopaedic surgery. Throughout his training, he was awarded the prestigious ‘Doctor of the Year’ award.
As a consultant, Mr Radha strives to put his patients first, providing them with the best possible care. He also strives to continually improve the challenges of the healthcare services with innovative and strategic ideas.
