About Mr Ahmed Karim
Mr Ahmed Karim is a consultant general surgeon at Cromwell Hospital, specialising in colorectal surgery and the management of colorectal cancer. He also works as a consultant surgeon and honorary senior lecturer at St George’s NHS Hospital.
He qualified from UCL Medical School in 2007 and completed his specialist training on the North London and West Midlands rotations. In 2018, he completed a fellowship in advanced rectal cancer and robotic surgery at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
Mr Karim is experienced in treating colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, colonic diverticular disease, pilonidal disease, haemorrhoids, and anorectal sepsis. As a general surgeon, he also treats emergency surgical conditions and major trauma affecting the abdomen.
