Mr Breck Lord is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon, specialising in hip and knee surgery. With international training and a dedication to excellence, he specialises in addressing a wide range of hip and knee conditions, from sports-related injuries to debilitating arthritic pain.

Mr Lord's passion lies in managing sports knee injuries, including anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture and complex multiligamentous knee reconstruction. He is committed to employing the latest techniques in joint preservation surgery, such as meniscal repair, cartilage restoration procedures, and osteotomy surgery. For patients suffering from arthritic conditions, Mr Lord offers comprehensive care, ranging from knee osteotomy to partial and total knee replacement surgery. Driven by a patient-centred approach, Mr Lord provides bespoke care to each individual, exploring all non-operative options before recommending surgery.

Mr Lord completed his medical training at Cambridge University and University College London, followed by a PhD in knee reconstruction surgery at Imperial College London. He has served as a surgical educator at prestigious institutions worldwide, including Oxford University, Southampton University, and Sydney and Melbourne University in Australia.

With numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and contributions to the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA), Mr Lord is recognised for his contributions to orthopaedic research and education. He completed fellowship training at renowned centres such as the North Sydney and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Centre and St George’s University Hospital, honing his skills in hip and knee replacement surgery.
