About Dr Kristian Kley
Dr Kley has a deep clinical interest in minimally invasive joint replacement and preservation, specialising in procedures that prioritise patient recovery and long-term joint health. His expertise includes the innovative Rottinger approach for hip replacement, which avoids detaching muscles and minimises trauma, enabling patients to achieve quicker recovery times, reduced pain, and improved outcomes. Dr Kley has performed thousands of hip and knee procedures, helping patients regain mobility and enhance their quality of life.
Dr Kley has contributed to the advancement of orthopedic surgery through extensive research, presentations at international conferences, and collaborations with fellow surgeons to refine rapid recovery techniques. He has a particular focus on patient-centered care, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs and ensuring the best possible results.
Krisitian was the fellow of Professor Philipp Lobenhoeffer who mentored him for the first part of Dr Kley’s career. Through his work with Professor Lobenoffer Kristian was introduced to the world of osteotomy surgery and became a member of the joint preservation expert group of the AO foundation.
