About Mr Giles Davies

Mr Giles Davies is a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon and Director of Breast Surgery at Cromwell Hospital. He is also Chairman of the Breast MDT.

He trained at St George's Hospital Medical School and the Royal Marsden, where he completed his MD thesis. He was an NHS consultant for 10 years at Kingston Hospital and the Royal Marsden Hospital, where he maintains an honorary contract.

Mr Davies has specialist expertise in all areas of breast cancer surgery, from assessment and breast cancer surgery through to complex breast reconstruction. His research programme in human papillomavirus and breast cancer is based in the UK and in Doha, Qatar.

Booking in to get an appointment was easy and painless - I was able to be seen within 2 days of calling which set the expectations for the service, and I was not disappointed. As soon as I entered the consultation room Giles put me at ease immediately with a professional explanation of my referral which I had not previously had detailed, with his kind, friendly and empathic manner, every member of the team was nothing short of superb, taking the time to ensure I was comfortable and fully informed at every step. The whole process was swift and seamless from consultation to imaging to results. I cannot believe how quickly I was in and out which is so important for these matters. I cannot thank or praise the team enough for the service I received. Thankyou Giles & your amazing team.

Mr Davies has always been very thorough in my care and taken the time to explain my prognosis, the plan for care and the monitoring available going forward. Mr Davies always puts me at ease and I the leave the appointment with the answers I need to manage what could be a very stressful circumstance.
