About Dr Ien Chan
Dr Chan was a consultant dermatologist at St Mary's Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust for over 10 years. He now runs a weekly specialist clinic at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He trained at St John's Institute of Dermatology, St Mary's Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. His research into the role of extracellular matrix protein 1 in human skin at King's College London resulted in an MD degree, numerous publications in high impact factor journals and presentations at national and international dermatology and scientific meetings. His current interests include paediatric dermatology, HIV-related skin disorders, male genital dermatoses and skin cancer.
