About Dr James Shelley
Dr James Shelley qualified from Guy's and St. Thomas' Medical Schools in London and his specialisation training was gained at St. John's Institute for Dermatology in London, King's College Hospital and Southampton University Hospitals. Between 2008 -2010 he undertook a comprehensive 2 year fellowship training program in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and skin cancer management in the internationally renowned centre in Newcastle. Since becoming a consultant at Chelsea and Westminster he has set up and now lead the Mohs Micrographic Surgery service for the region.
Dr Shelley's clinical interests include skin cancer diagnosis and management, (including Mohs Micrographic Surgery) and skin surgery. He has expertise in general adult dermatology eg management of skin infections (including tropical), psoriasis, eczema, acne and rarer types of skin disease.
