About Miss Aboukhater

Maya delivers diet and nutritional advice to paediatrics, diabetes, gastroenterology, and weight management patients at Cromwell Hospital, and speaks French, Arabic and English.

With over 15 years of experience and 20+ years of accumulated knowledge in dietetics, she is UK-based Registered Dietitian with the Health Profession Council, and a member of the British Dietetic Association, food allergy and paediatric specialists’ groups. Her career is commitment to improving the health and well-being of children, adults, and families, particularly in managing complex cases. Her professional journey is driven by a passion for continuous learning and an unwavering dedication to patient care. As a working mum with three young boys, she values the importance of good nutrition through pregnancy, early childhood years and in achieving work-life balance. Maya enjoys working with both adults and children by promoting healthy eating behaviour, helping patients visualise their lifestyle, setting realistic and achievable goals.

Before joining Cromwell Hospital, Maya worked in acute and community settings at several NHS, private and American Hospitals. She received her BSC in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2005, and has a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition.
