About Dr Mumin Noor

Dr Mumin Noor gained his undergraduate medical degrees at Imperial College London and Cardiff University. He then completed general medical training in both tertiary and district hospitals in London. Following a period of research at Harefield Hospital, he completed his cardiology training in the North West Thames rotation (London Deanary). His sub-specialty training was in heart failure and complex cardiac devices at Hammersmith Hospital, Royal Brompton Hospital and Harefield Hospital.

Dr Noor was awarded a Clinical Research Fellowship at Harefield Hospital's transplant unit in 2010. He gained a Medical Doctorate research degree (MD Res) studying advance heart failure and mechanical circulatory support at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London.

His current clinical research interests include cardiac device therapy in heart failure patients.

Specialist expertise in diagnosis and treatment of heart failure (symptoms of breathlessness, ankle swelling and fatigue); pacemaker and defibrillator implantation; and cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRT).
