About Dr Olga Kapellou
Dr Olga Kapellou is a consultant paediatrician and neonatologist based at Homerton NHS Hospital. In addition to running general paediatric clinics, she also provides baby checks, assistance with feeding issues, colic, excessive crying, food aversion, food allergy, breathing problems, constipation, diarrhoea, and recurring infections.
Dr Kapellou received her medical qualification in 1995 and additionally holds a Doctor of Medicine postgraduate degree from Imperial College London. She trained at some of London's most notable teaching hospitals, including Great Ormond Street, Chelsea and Westminster, and University College London. She was appointed as a consultant at Homerton Hospital in 2009.
She uses Griffiths Neurodevelopmental Scales to track infant development in outpatients’ clinics. She is also a Neonatal Life Support instructor and a Unicef-trained breast-feeding specialist.
