About Dr Shazia Ovaisi
Dr Shazia Ovaisi qualified in 2002 and went on to complete her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2005, after having completed the King’s College Hospital medical rotation.
She became a GP in 2008 and works both within the NHS and private sectors. She is a Partner at a busy South West London NHS practice and, together with Dr Catherine Ellis, is a co-founder of the Nightingale Doctors which provides bespoke private GP services for local and international patients. She feels that continuity of care and follow-up consultations, together with helping patients to navigate the healthcare system, is a vital part of her role.
