About Miss Sophie Camp
Miss Camp studied medicine at the Royal Free and University College Medical School, following a degree in Experimental Psychology at Corpus Christi College, Oxford, and a PhD at the Institute of Neurology, Queen Square. She then completed neurosurgery training on the London (North Thames) Rotation, during which time she was awarded an NIHR Academic Clinical Lectureship and undertook research in the field of neuro-oncology. She was appointed as a consultant neurosurgeon at Imperial College NHS Trust in 2016, and became an honorary clinical senior lecturer at Imperial College London in 2017.
Miss Camp has ongoing research interests in both neurotrauma and neuro-oncology, focusing predominantly on ultrasound and image analysis. She is co-chief investigator for FUTURE-GB (Functional and Ultrasound Guided Resection of GlioBlastoma), a NIHR funded, multicentre, intraoperative, randomised controlled trial.
